Wendy Arneill

I am a Registered Nurse with experience in Labor & Delivery and the Emergency Department. My abilities as a doula have developed from the simple nurturing I love to impart to a much broader wisdom; I have worked with amazing midwives and other doulas, continually have immense self-directed study, and most importantly, I have learned so much from my pregnant clients, family members and friends. I am a teacher of Ayurveda (eastern-based healthcare) and am finishing my studies as an Ayurveda Health Practitioner. I completed the DONA training for doulas and am a Prenatal Yoga instructor. I have experience with HypnoBirthing, as well. I am happy to have the depth of knowledge from nursing and western medicine as well as the holistic approaches of eastern health care.





I bring to you whatever it is that you need from my array of experiences. I am happy to be your doula in the hospital or at home and have answers to your many questions if you have not yet decided which is best for you. I can answer specific nursing questions throughout your pregnancy which will only empower you for your pregnancy and birth. If you choose, I will offer you nutritional and dietary recommendations, Ayurvedic suggestions, yoga and meditation guidance. Undoubtedly, I will bring you love and support when and where you need it most, for you, your partner and baby. My role is to facilitate your best pregnancy and birth experience possible. I am available throughout your pregnancy for questions and support and also have a modest library of books for loan.





I also work with women prior to conception to help them conceive consciously, easily, and in optimum health for themselves and their families.
