“It is not just what you do, but how you do it, that is empowering to yourself and to others.”
-Anne Firth Murray Founder of the Global Fund for Women It is my belief, that through positive birth experiences, and trusting interactions with our bodies, we can compassionately and meaningfully affect the life newly introduced into this world, the path on which we lead our own lives, the ways in which we see each other and the attitudes with which we participate in this global community. It is my honor and life-long journey to assist women and their families in preparing for and participating in the birth experiences that they desire. With great passion and many years of fore thought, I completed my doula training at the end of 2009 and my midwife assistant training in January of 2010. I am set to begin graduate study at UCSB in the fall within the Global and International Studies Department working on the topics of Reproductive Rights and Maternal Health. As a doula working towards certification, I am currently offering my services on a donation basis. Whatever you are able to contribute is absolutely perfect. As well, my heart leads me to work with all women and teens in any kind of life circumstances. Please feel free to contact me with any questions whatsoever that you may have.
Warmly and with all my best, Hannah VK Haehn |
