Dodi Gauthier

I have been a Labor and Delivery nurse for over 30 years and believe in the magic and miracle of pregnancy and birth. I have a master's degree in Education and certification as a childbirth educator. I am passionate about promoting the health and safety of women and newborns in our community. As the Coordinator of Perinatal Education at Cottage Hospital in Santa Barbara and I also work part time as a bedside nurse in L&D. As a chapter co-leader with the Association of Womens Health, Obstetric and Neonatal Nursing (AWHONN), I wish to liaison with members of the community, professionals including doulas and providers, to promote the education and well being of women and their babies. I have published in the area of fetal monitoring and maternal assessment and also been involved with outreach for the First Responders in SB county. I also am an avid reader, traveler, and NFL fan.
